We have been learning to form our letters correctly and to use capital letters in the correct place.

I am good at making my letters sit on the line.

I need to get better at forming all the letters correctly and to have spacing between words and letters when required

We have been learning about golf.

I liked hitting the balls.

I am good at hitting the balls far.

I need to work on hitting the ball up.

Animal Town Writing

This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing.

We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story.

What I like about my writing is that it's fun.

I need to improve on my spelling.

Animal Town

What am I?

I have a gold mane and a gold body too, a gold and brown tail brown ears blue-eyes like

a person.

What am I?

I have stripes and a black mane, black hooves and my body is white. What am I?

I have a white brown body, brown ears, black eyes and black legs. What am I?

My hot air balloon

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is adjectives. I need to improve on spelling. We also made a google draw showing the things that we would take with us in our hot air balloon.

I have packed tomatoes, carrots and Mandarins.  I am happy to
go on the red hot air balloon. I am going with mum and dad.
 My mum and dad can afford to see the world, so can I.
Mum and Dad can hear the swishing wind going around the
red hot air balloon.  I am going around the beautiful world. All
the people looked like little animals on the ground far below.
I love going in the sky, it was beautiful in the red hot air balloon.

The pou

As part of our writing programme we have been doing environmental writing. We had to sketch an object and as we were sketching we wrote down thoughts that we had. Then we wrote our thoughts down  as a poem. We cut out the sketch and added this to our writing.
