In Week 3 of Term 3, we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. This week Mrs Craig Read the book: The smartest Giant in Town by Julia Donaldson.

I chose to to make something for my mum because she is kind.
On 22 June 2021 I got to go on a two day trip to Auckland to take part in the Grip Leadership Conference. Mrs Edwards, Mrs B and Shiah’s mum, Nardea were our drivers. We had a great time and the conference was really interesting.

It was about the different coloured crayons who were moaning because they were tired of only being used to colour some things.
I chose to do a slow motion of what the water looks like in slow motion and a poster.

Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. This week Mrs Craig Read the book ‘Twig.” I chose to make a hut.
In Week 4, we went on a hunt in the playground to see if we could find some autumn leaves. We looked for them on trees and on the ground. Then we came back to class and wrote about them using as many of our senses as we could. Here is my work:

It was about friendship and learning about your strengths and weaknesses. I chose to do a pupp its with manea and our one was about Table vs Chair. Here is my work.
